Payments

Payments can be made by Credit and Debit Cards online or over the Telehone or by using Paypal, Google Checkout, cheques & Crossed Postal Orders (items paid for via cheques will be dispatched upon receipt of cleared funds & are only accepted from UK Customers).

Deliveries

mainland UK & Northern Ireland
The standard service allows 3 working days for delivery once items have been dispatched. Items are dispatched within 2 working days. If we are awaiting stock the dispatch date may be delayed. Should this be the case we will advise you by email. Please advise us if the package has failed to arrive within 5 working days.

Flat rate Shipping Costs within the UK are £3.95.

Please advise us of special delivery requirements. All deliveries will require a signature upon receipt. If your shipment should arrrive while you are out a card should be left to rearrange delivery or collection. Subject to the carrier's conditions if the parcel is not collected within the allocated time period it will be returned to ourselves. Whilst we are happy to resend the parcel, unfortunately, in this instance we will have to charge the full postage costs which could possibly be more than the standard £3.95 we normally charge. We do however, not knowingly make any profit on postal charges.

Overseas
All deliveries will be made using airmail and should arrive within 5 working days from dispatch. Items are dispatched within 2 working days. If we are awaiting stock the dispatch date may be delayed. Should this be the case we will advise you by email.
Please advise us if your parcel has failed to arrive within 8 working days.

All overseas deliveries are subject to local import duties and taxes and may be affected by Customs and Excise delays and are the responsibility of the buyer.

Sizing Guides.

Please note that all sizes are approx. Most designer brands come up slightly smaller than you would find on the High Street.

Please note the following Statements are based on our personal observations & experience when shopping for our own children. Sizing can also vary greatly from story to story (ie across the different ranges) & season to season depending upon where the garment has been manufactured. This is not a definative guide as every childs size varies but we hope it helps!

French brands are often said to run "small" this is because they usually have a shorter height range than other brands for instance an Age 4y is more often than not 104cm. A french Age 4y may be labelled 102cm. Some French Brands include: Catimini, Lilli Gaufrette, Marese, Jean Bourget & Pomme Framboise. The french brand Eliane et Lena that we carry has no height stated on the label but unlike most other runs true to size, almost generous.

Italian Brands such as Monnalisa tend to run small and we have always found the need to go up an age size sometimes two.

UK Brands (Sarah Louise & Little Darlings), Dutch Brands (Pom Pom & Oilily) tend to be true to size apart from the High End Designer Jottum (Dutch) which again is suitable for the tall slimmer figure.

Both French and Spanish brands we have found favour the shorter length skirt or dress. So, if you like your dresses to be worn long, again the next size up may be the better option for you, providing your child can carry the fit of the clothing around the waist or chest in the case of dresses.

Some European labels (Jottum, Oilily) tend to state the approx height in centimetres rather than age.

To add to the confusion Dutch Brands (Oilily, Jottum, Cakewalk) only make tops in even age sizes! i.e. 104cm (4yrs), 116cm (6yrs) etc. but the skirts and dresses are produced in all ages and will run 104cm (4yrs), 110cm (5yrs),116cm (6yrs) etc.

Personally we have found to go by height rather than age when available but it is surprising how clothes will still fit when a child has grown taller than that stated on the Label.

We are always happy to provide measurements if we have the item in stock or if the manufacturer can supply them prior to us receiving them.
